“In L.A., the stars are upside down, on the ground.”

Herds of college students. Special vegetarian dogs were a treat. Did I mention, free?

Cody Pridmore, Laura V. Rivera, Jax Meyers, and Finley StillJax Meyers coming up with a 21st century masterpiece. The Poets recite over one another. Typical. At the Bourgeois Pig, being Societal. “Widows” of Perception

Come by some time and share with us! All pictures by Cody Pridmore.

The Society of Poetry is undergoing some changes! With this upcoming Spring, the Society has taken on a few novel interests. Among them: Excursions to art museums (See the Getty post), Movie Nights (literary related madness), Crashing Poetry Readings (upcomings Beyond Baroque or Unurban Cafe), and an eventual trip to the desert (bring Leaves of Grass by Walt Whitman and have revelations about the nature of poetry and ourselves).

The usual format thrives and we will continue reviewing poetry by ourselves and others.
